Probably one of the smartest moves for any artist to do is to release their hit song after blowing up on TikTok and Aly & Aj did just that.
Aly & Aj released their explicit version of their hit song “Potential Breakup Song” and it’s already number one on iTunes. After their song blew up on TikTok earlier this year, the duo released the new version on December 29.
The famous song that deals with insensitive middle school crushes. The new version is identical with the original version except replace a few words with some emotional swearing and you got the new version.
The song was featured in over 2 million TikTok videos reigniting the song’s streaming numbers. TikTok has been known lately for reviving songs such as Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” and more.
Aside from their new version of “Potential Breakup Song,” Aly and Aj released “Slow Dancing,” the lead single off their upcoming album.
