Anthemic Stadium and Alternative Pop band, MIYA MIYA released their title track video for their debut EP, Cold Blood.
In collaboration with award-winning director, Tom Bailey, MIYA MIYA created a short sci-fi style accompanying video to artfully convey the uncertainty of a relationship, as described in the track’s lyrics.
In the video, vocalists, Ginnie and Jordan are portrayed as trapped test lab subjects while guitarist and drummer, Gio and James play scientists.
When ECHO chatted with the band in July, MIYA MIYA had just finished the Cold Blood video shoot. Guitarist, Gio noted the irony of shooting during the COVID-19 pandemic, “It was really weird as well because the whole scene of the video was basically we were in a laboratory, but then all the crew are in these masks as well so it looked like they were in a music video too.”
As with their previous music videos for “Hometown and “Underwater,” “Cold Blood’s” visuals are cinematic and have an engaging storyline.
