Following the release of his single “Stranger” and impressive interpretation of Alicia Keys’ “Like You’ll Never See Me Again,” Nigerian-born, U.K.-based singer/songwriter Jacob Banks is back with his third 2020 solo track.
In “Devil That I Know,” Banks’s baritone emotive vocals capture the struggle and pain of finding the value in a questionable relationship.
The minimalist melody puts Banks’s signature reflective and captivating storytelling on display.
The release is paired with a music video of a newlywed couple driving through the fog into looming uncertainty.
You can listen to “Devil That I Know” here.
