Have you ever wondered who is behind some of your favorite artists’ most iconic stage looks? Hulu is pulling back the curtain on costume design with its innovative unscripted series “Dress My Tour,” produced by Relevé Entertainment and All3Media America.
Hosted by supermodel and actress Kate Upton, the 10 episode series follows 11 aspiring designers as they compete for the chance to dress some of music’s biggest artists and the ultimate $100,000 prize.
Mentoring the contestants through every twist and turn are 7x Emmy® award winning costume designer Marina Toybina and creative director, choreographer and Emmy® award-nominated director Laurieann Gibson.
Upton, Gibson, and Toybina also serve as judges alongside musical guest judges including Paula Abdul, JoJo Siwa, JT of The City Girls, and Ty Dolla $ign, Toni Braxton, Coi Leray, French Montana, and Jessie James Decker.
Before “Dress My Tour,” drops on Hulu on July 23, Toybina and Gibson gave ECHO a behind the scene glimpse at this avant garde take on the classic design competition.
“Dress My Tour” can be streamed on Hulu on July 23, 2024.
