New York based duo Eighty Ninety is back with their new single, “Better As Friends.”
Like their previous single “Happier,” this new track touts the band’s signature minimalist style and unguarded songwriting.
Along with Grammy-nominated producer Gian Stone (Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Dua Lipa), the band captures the desire to maintain connection at the end of a relationship despite the pain, “It’s about the desire to live in the past rather than face the end, and how loving someone can mean wanting the best for them even if that no longer includes you,” the duo shared.
Fans can look forward to Eighty Ninety’s forthcoming sophomore EP.
