Audiences first fell for Pennsylvania native Catie Turner while she was a contestant on ABC’s American Idol. Two years, a few tours and one acclaimed EP later, Turner is making a triumphant return with her brand new single “One Day” and companion video.
Through her signature wordplay and ability to capture shared experiences, Turner tells the story of someone wary of a relationship moving too fast.
To bring this narrative to life, Turner worked alongside director, Christina Xing. “I loved working with Christina [Director Christina Xing],” Catie shared. “Her idea of placing my love interest in a bubble, representing how difficult dating is during a pandemic. I also thought it was a way to show how sometimes we hide our own emotions in our own bubble, and should be more expressive and vulnerable without a fear of popping our own bubble. But mostly I just thought it would be fun to run around in.”
