“Hot Shit,” Cardi B’s first solo release in over a year has already garnered 28 million global streams and climbing. Now the Tay Keith (Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Nas X) produced single has an epic video to match.
Enlisting the help of award-winning filmmaker Lado Kvataniya, Cardi B enters a futuristic New York City. Bathed in a warm sunset glow, Cardi climbs skyscrapers and precariously dances on towers, while Lil Durk and Ye join her from under a bridge and a nondescript reflecting pool.
The trio’s lyrical wordplay seamless blends with the avant-garde backdrops and costumes as the three throw down some great verses like “I don’t know what’s longer, man, my blocklist or my checklist, I don’t know what’s colder, man, my heart or my necklace”
