Ben Platt is best known for his Broadway roles in Book of Mormon and Dear Evan Hansen; as well his role as Benji in the Pitch Perfect movies. After successfully mastering the stage and big screen, he’s exploring the possibilities of Instagram to showcase his talent.
Recently, as an apology for missing his friend, Nicolette Kloe’s Broadway debut as Jenna in Waitress The Musical, Ben posted a cover to his Instagram of “She Used to Be Mine” from the show.
He received so much positive feedback from fans on this cover, that he was inspired to create another one only a week later! “All your kind words made me wanna sing more so I covered a little @5sos this morning,” he wrote.
His latest cover is a heart wrenching rendition of 5SOS’ Youngblood leaves fans wanted even more.
Platt certainly is succeeding in this realm and we can’t wait to see what other amazing covers he has in store!
