“Arms Around Me” is the empowering new single from Toronto pop R&B artist, D!XON.
Growing up as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, D!XON struggled to find acceptance among his peers and family. It was not until he left home that he was able to connect with other members of the community, as well as music producer, Verse-Atile and discovered the power of music and its ability to create solace and inspire.
That discovery is apparent in his unapologetic new single, “Arms Around Me.” The R&B pop-dance track encourages love for yourself and those around you.
The song is elevated with the companion visual directed by Dan Lemoyne, Hollywood Jade (Drag Race Canada resident choreographer) and Marc Andrew Smith (Drag Race resident stylist).
D!XON is also the creator of the City of Toronto’s Annual Drag Masterclass featuring Priyanka, the winner of Drag Race Canada and Drag Legend Sofonda Cox. Through the program, Toronto youth are mentored in professional artistic development.
