Since 2017, Nija’s has been the writer and producer behind award-winning hits for artists including Beyoncé, Cardi B, and Lady Gaga. Now, she is poised to join those artists at the top of the charts with her debut self-written, self-produced single “Ease My Mind (Come Over).”
From the first punch of Nija’s powerful vocals requesting “Come and ease my mind” through the sea of smooth harmonies and electronic drums, Nija captures one of the shared emotional experiences that she is known for. Relaxed and heartfelt, the R&B track is about “those times when you’ve had a long day, maybe stressed out from work, and you just want to get your mind off things with that special person at the end of the day,” Nija says.
Nija tapped Director Child (Big Sean, Janelle Monáe, H.E.R.) to continue the story with the official music video. The vibrant, sunset-soaked visual takes a peek into a futuristic apartment, while Nija waits for “that special person to return.”
“Ease My Mind (Come Over)” is just the beginning for Nija, who plans to release a debut project this fall.

Amelia Cordischi, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Juice Box Press, is an accomplished digital marketing professional with over a decade of experience in media and communications.
