After lighting up TikTok with her single “She’s Mine,” rising country star, Lauren Weintraub is back with yet another viral hit.
“Me Over You,” which received over 1.2 million views on TikTok, is a country anthem about empowering yourself to focus on yourself after a breakup.
“Have you ever tried to distract yourself from a breakup?” Weintraub asked her TikTok followers, “going out too much…kissing random people. Anything to ignore the hurt. I have. And it felt like I totally lost myself. I wrote this song about that…when I learned to start choosing me and loving me is when I felt okay again.”
The single’s message is elevated by Weintraub’s emotional vocals and relatable lyrics written alongside Josh Byrd and Chistian Hale.
