Bedroom pop artist, BINNY has released his latest single, “Prime.”
Growing up in Maryland, BINNY struggled with low-self-esteem. It was not until he exited his teenage years and entered adulthood that he found some assurance. “By the time I entered my 20s, I worked on finding peace within myself and started embracing everything about myself. I became more confident, outspoken, and creative,” BINNY shared.
BINNY’s latest single “Prime” captures that evolving sense of confidence. Over grime 808 bass sounds and trap influenced drum beats, he sings “You’ve got me in my prime” and “I’ve become as secure as my bag.”
BINNY hopes that his work can inspire others, no only in it’s message, but with representation. “I hope to be a part of that change and be an inspiration for other Asian Americans who want to pursue music.”
