Over the years, Charm La’Donna has choreographed for artists including Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Ella Mai, and Rosalia. Now the Compton native is adding rapper and songwriter to her long list of credits.
After the release of her debut single, “So & So” earlier this year, La’Donna has returned with her brand new track “Westside,” a nod to her home.
“Westside,” like La’Donna’s previous single draws from real life lessons. In the R&B track, she shares that no matter what happens, everything will be alright if she has the support of her family and friends. “long as they love me on the Westside,” La’Donna sings.
La’Donna returned to her neighborhood for the music video that features customized cars and her signature choreography.
If her career and creativity so far is any indication of what’s to come, fans are in store for some great things from this multi-hyphenate.
