Pop rock band, Kitten have become known for their signature 90s sound highlighted on their 2019 release, ‘Goodbye Honeymoon Phase.’ Their latest single, “Angelina” and it’s video capture that same 90s inspiration.
In the video directed by Natalie Chaidez, mother of vocalist, Chloe, Kitten cruises the LA streets in a vintage convertible and on a skateboard.
The lyrics note 90s references including “feeling like a young Angelina [Jolie]” and “got the radio on, Christina [Aguilera].”
Along with the 90s inspired lyrics, band members Parker Silzer and David Stagno play a laid back track with hints of 90s pop, West Coast Hip Hop, and Hi-NRG.
“Angelina” is the first single release from the band’s sophomore record expected early next year.
