Nashville’s alt-pop act Kyd the Band (aka Devin Guisande) recently released his ‘EP, Season 3: The Realization.’ This six track project is the third installment in Kyd’s EP series.
The EP explores coming to terms with identity. This is especially evident in “Roots,” a song about appreciating that your past shaped you.
Each of the songs reflect Kyd’s personal experiences and traumas, including an isolated childhood, departure from home and family, a drug overdose, and survival. His honest and vulnerable storytelling is highlighted in tracks including “Corridors,” “I’ll Stay,” “Love Someone Else,” and “Make It In America.”
The EP concludes with the track “The Way The World Is,” a commentary on navigating this current chaotic world.
You can listen to the EP here.
