Pop-funk band BARBUDO’s new single, “Magnolia Mansion,” has a nostalgic disco quality.
From the south of England, brothers Ben and Harry Stanworth have developed a laid-back and soulful sound that evokes funk, soul and disco.
Their groovy new sound is the product of experiments with an old tape machine.
“Magnolia mansion is in itself an ideal – a place in the ether, that we all can transport to when the sun is beaming down but at the same time encourages us to think about change within and without, linking escapism and personal discovery,” the brothers explain.
You can boogie down with BARBUDO on October 9, during their virtual celebratory release party. Tickets are available on DICE.
