“Tangerine” is the latest single from Canadian artist, Ellyn Woods.
Sitting on a vintage couch in a Montreal studio, Ellyn Woods noticed an overhead orange light and found inspiration in the hue. The poetic lyrics that poured out of Woods were then paired with faded piano notes and a driving beat to guide Wood’s dreamlike drawl and anticipatory narrative.
“I hope that this song uplifts you. “Tangerine” was written for you to dance to and truly enjoy,” Woods says.
Fans can look forward to Wood’s debut album Fall 2020.
