After the impressive success of their single,“Savage,†Bahari are back with a remix of the viral hit. Collaborating with rapper, BIA, the duo has reimagined the track with nimble rhymes blended with airy flutes, cinematic strings, and a hard-hitting hook.Â
Bahari explains, “We decided to write a song that emboldened and empowered us as two young women who had recently gone through difficult relationships. A lot of what we write is very vulnerable, so we flipped it around and said, ‘We feel good about ourselves.’ We needed a strong female artist for the remix, and BIA was a perfect fit.†Bahari explains.
The remixed “Savage†was accompanied by an intimate music video with dark vignettes.
Fans can look forward to more music later this summer from the alt-pop duo.
