Following her single, “Head Over Heels,” two-time award-winning recording artist Crystal Starr is “bringing the beat back” with “Heart Failure” featuring Mr. Robotic, and its music video.
A collaboration with Keith Harris (Black Eyed Peas, Estelle), and record producer/engineer Renard Hughes, the pop track takes listeners from racing heart to heartbreak.
‘My heart is here for you, no traitor, falling for your love is what I do. Your savior. Take my last breath with you, Inhaler, love stops cold blue, Heart Failure,” Starr sings of how someone can lose themselves in a toxic relationship.
The music video pulls in Starr’s 80s and 90s pop influences with graphic, eye-catching outfits while the contrasting light mirrors the dark and vulnerable lyrics.
“Heart Failure” is just one of the pop tracks off her forthcoming album Popstarr.
